Payless heels, Bazaar cuffs, Thrifted vest top, Old shorts, Indies Tassel earrings
Each and every one of us has our own insecurities, imperfections or flaws that we are all afraid to flaunt. I think the best way to deal with insecurities is to accept and let go of the issues that makes you feel insecure and start focusing more on the things that makes you feel good.
As my body age, I have gained a couple of pounds and never lose it. People around me are not used to seeing me looking a little bit heavy than my usual weight. I had such a hard time dealing with my weight gain that I had lost my self confidence. Through acceptance and with the help of my boyfriend who have love me through the years. I realized that being beautiful is not just about your weight but also how you feel good about yourself.
Aside from gaining weight, one of my biggest insecurities is my huge arms. I just hate it so much that even on summer days, I would prefer wearing long sleeves or top/blouses with sleeves that are long enough to cover my arms. Buuuuuut with this vest top, my arms look a little bit smaller than the usual. I guess it's because of the cut and the vest's length.
So remember, the best way to deal with insecurities is to flaunt your flaws. That's what I did today. I hope you will too. Have a good day :)
